Classic acrylic signage carries with it an air of prestige, an indication of the quality and status of your business.
One of our most appreciated land long-standing clients, The Silver Collective, recently had another 3D acrylic wall sign installed by our Sydney Signs Portal specialists.
The chic, minimalist elegance delivers maximum impact with visitors and represents a perfect example of how less is more.
Finished in black gloss, the signage contrasts perfectly with the white matte wall it rises from: a sleek and confident pronouncement in the space. The beauty of black gloss finish signage solutions for your branding is that it sends a message, conveying style and sophistication, and the premium quality of your products and services.
With eight years of signage industry experience behind us, our team at Sydney Signs Portal is united in a reassuring truth: true genius is found in simplicity.
So if you’re ready to elevate the image and status of your business, please contact Sydney Signs Portal today so we can discuss a 3D black glass signage solution for you.
The modern office has evolved to comprise a variety of specific zones. Considered design and planning goes into ensuring each office zone suits the working requirements of the company’s staff.
Each office space is self-evident, leaving no room for confusion between a: board room, quiet room, kitchen, office gaming zone, or prayer/ meditation room. Even so, you can spark more joy by instilling theme to your office zones with the addition of signage or office wall graphics. And it also makes practical sense, as graphics help employees switch their minds between the varying office activities.
Office wall graphics are also a wonderful approach to bringing a more natural feel into an office space. There are no blank walls in Nature, and graphics are a simple way to introduce the fuller spectrum of life offered by Nature, with all that colour, fun and diversity.
When companies tell you they want their employees to be happy, what they’re really wanting is more motivation. And the companies that are successful in achieving this are those who invest in designing and styling their workspaces with appropriate signage and graphics that leave employees feeling more welcomed and fulfilled. And it has been a great pleasure over many years for Sydney Signs Portal’s mission to help other businesses achieve this outcome.
Much like when a tattoo artist sees inkless skin, or a painter sees a blank canvas – as a signage company, we do not like blank office walls. Those walls need to have signs or graphics on them, and quickly! To walk through a branded office, allows you to enjoy that feeling of completeness. It’s welcoming to your visitors and imbues the space with a dynamic and vitality that helps everyone be more productive.
Office Wall Signs and Graphics
The question is: what is the best way to add a dynamic feel to your office without overstimulating? How do you get the balance right of augmenting the space, just sufficiently to inspire, but not so much that it ends up being a distraction? Incorporating professionally designed office wall graphics is always a good starting point. The bonus is that you always have the option of those office wall graphics carrying your brand. A professional team designing your office graphics understands that less is more, and appreciates what it takes to be engaging without overwhelming. And having been called in on projects to correct the poor work of less experienced designers, we have seen first hand the way that incorrect office graphic choice is jarring to the eye and draining on personnel.
With the assistance of the professional team designing your office graphics, a clear message will be conveyed to all staff and visitors, highlighting the good corporate culture and exceptional integrity within your walls. A good example is a project we completed for Basware. The thoughtful design and skilled installation resulted in stunning geometry, seamlessly flowing from glass panels to walls, and further extending to glass doors.
Window Privacy film and more
This type of quality and precision impresses all, as it tells the story of your company’s integrity. The colours are in line with the client’s corporate branding: understated while making an impression. In our line of work, it is hard to pick a favourite medium we work with, but we can’t overstate just how much we love our clients asking us to include window privacy film with a corporatebranding print. And while it provides an added layer of protection from disturbance and interruption in a busy office space, we see it as an unsung hero, discreetly contributing to smooth day-to-day operations and productivity.
The Basware project also provided us with the opportunity to contribute to the current modern trend of assigning Sydney suburbs to office meeting room signs. In this case: Bondi, Manly and Coogee. Always remember that wall logos with added wall graphic elements are forming wall signage that speaks to your conscious and subconscious mind. And bearing that in mind can only help you appreciate how important it is to get it right. And if you want to get it right, please contact Sydney Sign Portal to assist with your project.
One of the objectives we have is to effectively convey the appealing qualities and attributes of the varying products that we offer. And this piece is to help you better appreciate the range of special features of frosted signage.
The translucency of the medium confers a sense of refinement.
There is an appreciable delicacy to its cut out lines. A frosted logo is imbued with fineness.
There is a purity to the presentation of a frosted sign.
If you’re looking for cleanliness – then frosted branding is your solution.
There is an overall neatness in the performance of frosted signage.
Frosted signage delivers clarity to the background.
Frosting also emphasises the precision of the cut.
And all of this is delivered through the hard work of our team in the background, creating an elegant finished product that is a thing of beauty.
And this window frosting we completed for Inlight Psychology is a perfect example.
With a relationship that now spans a number of years, UNICEF has become part of the Sydney Signs Portal family. But it is still an incredible honour to be contacted by UNICEF to work on yet another ambitious signage and graphics project.
The simple brief of producing and installing graphics and signage in their new office, barely tells the story of the insight we enjoyed into the valuable work they are doing. The precision of laser cut 3D acrylic signage, welcomes you to an office whose walls and pillars are effectively a gallery of good deeds.
The multiple wall murals and poster style wall decals display photos that capture moments from remote Australian communities, to Bangladesh, Cambodia, Zimbabwe, Mongolia, and Syria. Photographic moments, that represent, the reach and commitment that UNICEF has to uplift the lives of others.
Installing wall graphics on pillars that display UNICEF’s efforts around the world, perfectly symbolises the pillar of support that UNICEF is in our global community.
Installing caption signs made from foamed PVC material with digital print below the wall graphics allow anyone viewing them to better appreciate the stories behind them and deepen their understanding of the struggles faced in these communities and nations.
Further adding to the thoughtfulness of this installation, graphics were installed on the lockers incorporating the global goals of the organisation, and window decals were used to name rooms in accordance with UNICEF’s values.
To ensure the privacy of meeting rooms, window frosting was installed.
It really is quite special to work with an organisation with a towering reputation on the international humanitarian stage. We take great pride in the fact that UNICEF entrusts Sydney Signs Portal to deliver work to the high standards they require. We extend our sincere support for their efforts moving forward.

An enduring strength of the products and services that we offer is that quite often a simple variation on a classic theme can deliver impressive outcomes.
One such impressive outcome is adding a branded cut out design to traditional office window frosting – which, in a cost-effective manner, adds a stylish sophistication to a workspace.
This simple solution allows you to avoid the ordinary while being informative. It is the perfect blend of privacy and thoughtfulness, as you are left with a premier example of discrete and reasonable branding.
This type of office signage also has the benefit of scalability. Conditional upon the needs of your company, we can do subtle cuts, or floor-to-ceiling cutout logos.
With the type of smart design approach we pride ourselves on here at Sydney Signs Portal, you too can experience an inspired office life, thanks to the elevated aesthetic this stylish product delivers.
This project was a fantastic opportunity for Sydney Signs Portal to showcase the range of our favourite products, as well as the versatility of our team in applying varying media to solutions commonly sought by our clientele. This included: 3D reception signage, office wall graphics, window frosting with computer cut design, logo signs for glass doors (vinyl decals), acrylic panels, office room name signage.
On this occasion the 3D reception signage was bolstered with extra volume – giving it added impact. It was custom painted in the company colours.
The window frosting at the entrance utilised a barcode design. This curious approach imbues the space with a sense of creativity, while also reflecting the company’s digital enterprise.
Some exquisite detail accompanied the room name signs. Stunning digital graphics of Australian native plans adorned the timber doors – a lovely touch.
Monochrome wall graphics with cartoonish drawn Sydney cityscapes were an impressive feature installed in several large office areas. These spectacular wall graphics invite your mind and creativity to flow beyond the walls of your workspace.
A recent project for the office of NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce in Redfern, Sydney, provided us with the opportunity to design and install a variety of signage.
But without doubt, we took most pride away from the work done on the reception signage – of which the design aspect was a key component – a component that was facilitated by the consultative process that preceded the reception signage project. We enjoyed working with the client in this period, offering advice on the type of signage and materials that would best suit their needs.
After reviewing the options we provided, the client opted for a large 3D reception sign with a metallic look.
Spanning more than 1.4 m, the brushed silver composite material with only 3mm depth created a subtle 3D effect, with just enough volume to not feel too imposing. Perfect for the reception lounge space.
And it has to be said that our team worked their usual magic with yet another tight deadline, even managing to complete the install prior to the due date. Once again confirming the reputation of Sydney Signs Portal’s super-fast turnaround.
When you are part of a team that is blessed with innovative skill, it is often tempting to mine that rich vein of creative talent for all the projects you are presented with. But there are times when it is important to remind oneself that we don’t always need to reinvent the wheel.
And such was the case when Manly Health Centre reached out to us to design and install a large 3D sign for their reception wall. This was an opportunity for us to call upon classic business signage aesthetic: minimalist in approach without distractions.
The white acrylic lettering against the dark-grey wall offers perfect contrast. A crisp, clearly-defined announcement that conveys certainty and reassurance.
And the large 3D letters carry weight and imbue the setting with a sense of importance.
This type of business signage is a great example of effectiveness through simplicity.
There are few places where privacy is of greater importance than a visit to the doctor. So this project would see Sydney Signs Portal installing classic quality privacy window frosting throughout the entire clinic.
We utilised a combination of fully frosted and partially-frosted techniques – depending on the client’s requirements for each space.
Fully-frosted glass provides 100% privacy, while still allowing the luxury of 95% of daylight to pass through. Partial frosting can protect certain rooms from unwanted eyes, or limit distractions while ensuring the space remains non-claustrophobic.
And, at the end of the day, all of these elements combine perfectly when installed to the high professional standards that are the trademark of Sydney Signs Portal.
