Motivational Office signage
The 21st century has seen motivational office signage become an integral part of successful office culture. And has there ever been a more important time to lift and motivate a workplace than during the current economic challenges.
The value of motivational office signage lies in its multilayered ability to energise a company by improving employees’ attitude to their work, driving deal closures and improving your bottom line – on top of achieving a highly professional aesthetic for your office space.
And even though motivational signage is generally directed at employees, it also catches the eye of and sends a clear message to your clients, reassuring them of your work ethic and ethos .
Motivational signage serves as a useful reminder of the standards upheld by your company and an opportunity to drive home your mission statement.
Our experienced design team can even advise you on the best way to improve the interior of your office space using motivational signage – and you can choose to be as adventurous as you like, adjusting the tone and style.
Motivational office signage is the journey of your company, with the ability to be replaced and evolve with the upward trajectory of your business. Contact Sydney Signs Portal today to be started on that path.
Akamai Project
This project was a fantastic opportunity for Sydney Signs Portal to showcase the range of our favourite products, as well as the versatility of our team in applying varying media to solutions commonly sought by our clientele. This included: 3D reception signage, office wall graphics, window frosting with computer cut design, logo signs for glass doors (vinyl decals), acrylic panels, office room name signage.
On this occasion the 3D reception signage was bolstered with extra volume – giving it added impact. It was custom painted in the company colours.
The window frosting at the entrance utilised a barcode design. This curious approach imbues the space with a sense of creativity, while also reflecting the company’s digital enterprise.
Some exquisite detail accompanied the room name signs. Stunning digital graphics of Australian native plans adorned the timber doors – a lovely touch.
Monochrome wall graphics with cartoonish drawn Sydney cityscapes were an impressive feature installed in several large office areas. These spectacular wall graphics invite your mind and creativity to flow beyond the walls of your workspace.

Signage with modesty and volume
A recent project for the office of NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce in Redfern, Sydney, provided us with the opportunity to design and install a variety of signage.
The signage installed on the day included acrylic signs, window signs, opening hours signs and directory signage. Once again, the skill and experience of our professional installers were required to ensure a seamless process across this variety of elements.
But without doubt, we took most pride away from the work done on the reception signage – of which the design aspect was a key component – a component that was facilitated by the consultative process that preceded the reception signage project. We enjoyed working with the client in this period, offering advice on the type of signage and materials that would best suit their needs.
After reviewing the options we provided, the client opted for a large 3D reception sign with a metallic look.
Spanning more than 1.4 m, the brushed silver composite material with only 3mm depth created a subtle 3D effect, with just enough volume to not feel too imposing. Perfect for the reception lounge space.
And it has to be said that our team worked their usual magic with yet another tight deadline, even managing to complete the install prior to the due date. Once again confirming the reputation of Sydney Signs Portal’s super-fast turnaround.
Manly Health Centre Project – The Forgotten Art of Simplicity
When you are part of a team that is blessed with innovative skill, it is often tempting to mine that rich vein of creative talent for all the projects you are presented with. But there are times when it is important to remind oneself that we don’t always need to reinvent the wheel.
And such was the case when Manly Health Centre reached out to us to design and install a large 3D sign for their reception wall. This was an opportunity for us to call upon classic business signage aesthetic: minimalist in approach without distractions.
The white acrylic lettering against the dark-grey wall offers perfect contrast. A crisp, clearly-defined announcement that conveys certainty and reassurance.
And the large 3D letters carry weight and imbue the setting with a sense of importance.
This type of business signage is a great example of effectiveness through simplicity.
The other component of this project was window frosting.
There are few places where privacy is of greater importance than a visit to the doctor. So this project would see Sydney Signs Portal installing classic quality privacy window frosting throughout the entire clinic.
We utilised a combination of fully frosted and partially-frosted techniques – depending on the client’s requirements for each space.
Fully-frosted glass provides 100% privacy, while still allowing the luxury of 95% of daylight to pass through. Partial frosting can protect certain rooms from unwanted eyes, or limit distractions while ensuring the space remains non-claustrophobic.
And, at the end of the day, all of these elements combine perfectly when installed to the high professional standards that are the trademark of Sydney Signs Portal.
Bringing nature to your work space: the transformative power of Wall Murals
It is always a pleasure to be contacted by returning clients – not just because it is an opportunity to build on an existing relationship, but it is also an endorsement of the work we do and the people in our team.
So it was wonderful to once again hear from Sydney-based cruise specialists, Ecruising, reaching out to us to complete a fantastic project.
This time around, Ecruising were looking to transform their office space with an epic 8-metre wall mural, depicting a tranquil forest setting. And we’re always impressed to see ambition and vision on this scale in a workspace.
Because with a wall mural of this nature, it’s not just a visual transformation that takes place, you are introducing a bold element with the power to increase productivity AND impress clients at the same time.
We are thrilled with the outcome of this spectacular digital wall print. If you too would like to experience the transformative power of an office wall mural, our team at Sydney Signs Portal awaits your contact.
The Stand-Out Welcome: 3D Reception Signage
It Is always a pleasure to work on a project that you know will have impact. And such was the case when Caresence reached out to us to create a 3-D reception sign with a stylish brushed silver-metallic look.
Made from Aluminium Composites Panel (ACP), the sign was cut in the shape of the company logo and included finer details with lettering beneath the logo.
We installed the ACP sign directly to the office reception wall using adhesive. The result was spectacular. This type of branding conveys that sense of a business with a solid foundation, a serious market player in it for the long term, with reliability and formidable magnitude.
Photographs of the end result do not do justice to just how impressive the appearance is of this stunning 3-D signage. With the experience of Sydney Signs Portal, and our signature fast ETA, we have created for Caresence reception signage that would be the envy of any business.
Signage in 3D: adding an impactful dimension to your office branding
What better way to have your office branding stand out than by taking advantage of the impactful effect of 3D signage. And such was the thinking of Sydney-based cruise holiday specialists, Ecruising Travel, when they contacted us to complete this interesting project.
Our brief was to create a large 3D sign, which to achieve, we would need to incorporate three different signage elements.
We used 6 mm acrylic – black for the suite number, and white with a coloured face for the rest of the signage – which included varying sizes of 3D lettering and numbers.
In completing this project, acrylic was our material of choice – which is most widely used in 3D signs – but 3D signage can also be fabricated from other materials, such as foam plastic, or aluminum composite panel for achieving a gleaming metallic finish.
The installation of 3D signage can be resolved by either screwing or adhering each element to the desired surface. And you can create a striking visual effect, by varying the gauge of your elements, creating a visual staircase of ascending height with your components.
Perhaps not utilised as often as it could be, 3D signs offer an approach to customised office branding that maximises impact. Please contact Sydney Signs Portal today to learn how your business could benefit from it.
One Fine Day Wedding Fair Event Signage
The One Fine Day Wedding Fair launched in Sydney in 2012, but due to its growing popularity, has since expanded nationally.
One Fine Day describes itself as, “a refreshing alternative to the traditional bridal fair, showcasing a handpicked collection of sought-after vendors in the wedding field.”
So when one of this year’s Sydney vendors reached out to us, on short notice, to complete their event signage, we relished the opportunity to be part of this creative, inspiring event.
Our brief was to complete two large custom-made timber stands to display scenic digital prints, each consisting of three tiles.
Working to a very tight deadline, our skilled team constructed the timber stands for the stunning digital prints that showcased the spectacular harbour views of the exhibitor’s venue, no doubt catching the eye of attendees looking for somewhere special to host their wedding reception.
Quite simply, when you combine the highest quality prints, with well-crafted display stands – the result is, dare we say, a marriage made in heaven.
This was yet another example of the type of quality finished product, our skilled and experienced team, consistently produces on short notice.
If you too are looking to catch the eye of potential clients at an expo or fair in Sydney, please contact Sydney Signs Portal today. Our experienced team awaits the opportunity to deliver the type of exceptional results that will ensure your event signage stands out from the crowd.
Acrylic Signage: an intersection of art and function
When one of Australia’s largest consumer product companies reached out to us to complete a large-scale project – even we didn’t fully anticipate the epic magnitude of what we were taking on.
The brief was for wall graphics and art at their new office in Macquarie Park, Sydney. This would end up including the installation of several large wall murals, as well as the installation of an incredible 26 acrylic prints – with the largest panel measuring 1500mm W x 1000mm H.
With the company specialising in food, all of the artworks were food-themed. And this is where the quality of an Acrylic Print Sign shone through. Acrylic lends itself perfectly to artwork because it is 100% optically clear – unlike glass, whose production method ensures it will always have slight colouration.
Each acrylic piece adorns the wall like a work of art, transforming the space into what feels more like a gallery than a new office.
Contact Sydney Signs Portal today to learn how we can help transform your Sydney workspace in a similarly uplifting way.
