The Stand-Out Welcome: 3D Reception Signage

It Is always a pleasure to work on a project that you know will have impact. And such was the case when Caresence reached out to us to create a 3-D reception sign with a stylish brushed silver-metallic look.

Made from Aluminium Composites Panel (ACP), the sign was cut in the shape of the company logo and included finer details with lettering beneath the logo.

We installed the ACP sign directly to the office reception wall using adhesive. The result was spectacular. This type of branding conveys that sense of a business with a solid foundation, a serious market player in it for the long term, with reliability and formidable magnitude.

Never a bored moment with MDF Board Signage

Timeless – dare I say, a classic – either way, we love the way this old-school MDF board with digital print is now the centrepiece at Stussy’s retail store in Darlinghurst, Sydney.

One of the great lessons we’ve picked up while working with countless clients across a broad range of industries all these years is to appreciate their intimate knowledge of the spaces they inhabit. And as much as we pride ourselves on the creative solutions we can provide, on this occasion, our client suggested the use of a self-standing timber sign, as a better option than traditional wall graphics.

And at 1500mm W x 2000mm H – this digital print proves yet again that bigger is better, at least when you are wanting to maximise impact.

In a space filled with vibrant colours, this classic black & white art piece gently invites your eye, offering a welcoming resting place amid that sea of colour.

Signage in 3D: adding an impactful dimension to your office branding

What better way to have your office branding stand out than by taking advantage of the impactful effect of 3D signage. And such was the thinking of Sydney-based cruise holiday specialists, Ecruising Travel, when they contacted us to complete this interesting project.

Our brief was to create a large 3D sign, which to achieve, we would need to incorporate three different signage elements.

We used 6 mm acrylic – black for the suite number, and white with a coloured face for the rest of the signage – which included varying sizes of 3D lettering and numbers.

In completing this project, acrylic was our material of choice – which is most widely used in 3D signs – but 3D signage can also be fabricated from other materials, such as foam plastic, or aluminum composite panel for achieving a gleaming metallic finish.

The installation of 3D signage can be resolved by either screwing or adhering each element to the desired surface. And you can create a striking visual effect, by varying the gauge of your elements, creating a visual staircase of ascending height with your components.

One Fine Day Wedding Fair Event Signage

The One Fine Day Wedding Fair launched in Sydney in 2012, but due to its growing popularity, has since expanded nationally.

One Fine Day describes itself as, “a refreshing alternative to the traditional bridal fair, showcasing a handpicked collection of sought-after vendors in the wedding field.”

So when one of this year’s Sydney vendors reached out to us, on short notice, to complete their event signage, we relished the opportunity to be part of this creative, inspiring event.

Our brief was to complete two large custom-made timber stands to display scenic digital prints, each consisting of three tiles.

Working to a very tight deadline, our skilled team constructed the timber stands for the stunning digital prints that showcased the spectacular harbour views of the exhibitor’s venue, no doubt catching the eye of attendees looking for somewhere special to host their wedding reception.

Quite simply, when you combine the highest quality prints, with well-crafted display stands – the result is, dare we say, a marriage made in heaven.

Acrylic Signage: an intersection of art and function

When one of Australia’s largest consumer product companies reached out to us to complete a large-scale project – even we didn’t fully anticipate the epic magnitude of what we were taking on.

The brief was for wall graphics and art at their new office in Macquarie Park, Sydney. This would end up including the installation of several large wall murals, as well as the installation of an incredible 26 acrylic prints – with the largest panel measuring 1500mm W x 1000mm H.

With the company specialising in food, all of the artworks were food-themed. And this is where the quality of an Acrylic Print Sign shone through. Acrylic lends itself perfectly to artwork because it is 100% optically clear – unlike glass, whose production method ensures it will always have slight colouration.

Cruising to spectacular results: one-way vision window graphics

When the Australian Cruise Group (ACG) reached out to us, we were excited by the prospect off working on yet another spectacular project, with what is fast becoming one of our favourite products to work with: perforated one-way vision film.

This was our third signage project with ACG in a year, having previously completed a project with showboat signs, as well as another with one-way vision window graphics.

So being contacted for this latest project only reinforced the value we place on earning that call from returning clients.

And what a project this was: 17m² of perforated window film was applied to the entire span of glass at the entrance to the ACG reservation office. This one-way vision signage and graphics allow those inside to easily see out, while restricting vision from outside and providing a quite stunning large scale advertising medium.

Event Signage for channel 9 Sydney

We consider hard work and high standards to be the mother of opportunity. A fact no more evident than with two spectacular projects we completed for channel 9 Sydney.

The first project we worked on was at the Entertainment Quarter in Sydney. Signage and graphics for the Ninja Warrior show.

The second project was a closed event, with an exceptionally high requirement for signage quality.

Exploring new frontiers: SERCO Canberra – Canvas Wall Mural

The reward for our commitment to quality and reliability is that we end up forming long-standing working relationships with esteemed clients – with SERCO being a perfect example.

Having previously completed work for them on wall graphics, office door signs, window frosting with digital print, warehouse signage and more – on this occasion they reached out, hoping we would complete a project outside of the area we normally service in Sydney.

So, as we would with any valued client – we headed to the nation’s capital.

The project was an expansive wall mural, comprised of three images of different vessels from within the SERCO fleet. And heading to Canberra wasn’t the only new frontier we explored – the project afforded the opportunity for us to debut a new material: .

The long drive to Canberra was well worth it. Not only does the installed mural look spectacular and the client is happy, but we now have experience with an amazing new material that REALLY does resemble canvas.
